Cakes for all occasions

Hi, my name is Carol and I founded Cake Pigeon in November 2016. I’ve been baking for family and friends for – forever! But, after much encouragement from said family and friends, I took the plunge and began baking for all you lovely people. I haven’t looked back, indeed I wish I’d started years ago.

The name Cake Pigeon, was thought of by my hubby, as a Sarah Millican fan he remembered a joke she told of standing at a cake shop window, cooing like a Pigeon, becoming in her words a “cake Pigeon!” That’s the reaction I love from customers when I present them with their cakes.

So, I make cakes for all occasions, from and including cupcakes of many delicious flavours. Traditional cakes like Victoria sponge, chocolate cake or a red velvet. Loaves, lemon drizzle, iced gingerbread, fruit tea, date and walnut etc. Cheesecakes, meringues, mini cakes, tray bakes like caramel shortbread. Then onto occasion cakes, birthdays, baby showers, hen do, anniversaries, graduation, christening, Communion, thank you and of course weddings. I cater for afternoon teas and can provide corporate and client cakes and bakes, afternoon teas and cupcakes.
